Rare Brother Photographs
Here are a few extremely
rare photographs of Cat Stevens with his elder brother David. These photographs appeared
in the 1977 Dutch magazine Muziek Express. The article appears to be an interview for
David rather than Cat. I believe 1977 is around the time David was busy with his own
project, The Alpha Omega album. Once I have this article translated into English, Majicat
will be sure to transcribe it for all it's readers. Until then, check out these great
pictures of Cat with his brother David.
I don't know about you, but
for me it was nice to be able to finally place a face to David, after reading about David
for so many years. So many of these old articles, has Yusuf/Cat mentioning David on
numerous occasions, even crediting David with helping Cat/Yusuf getting his start in the
music business. And in the recent articles, credits David with giving Yusuf the gift of
the Koran.
