Playing notes:
This song was arranged as a duet with Cat playing the strummed rhythm,
& Alun Davies playing in a finger picking style accompaniment throughout.

Left hand Fingers:  T= Thumb
                    I= Index finger
                    M= Middle finger
                    R= Ring finger
                    L= Little finger

NB: These suggested fingerings of the chords are shown as played
with the left hand ( i.e. for a right handed player.)
Usually where there are two or more 'I's shown at the same fret this indicates
a barre chord and the Index finger lays across all strings indicated at that fret.

CAT'S CHORDS

N.B. Cat plays the 'Bouzouki style'riffs.

Intro:    xxx087    xxx 0 10 8   xxx 0 12 10    xxx 0 13 12

For the rest of the song he strums the rhythm chords below, but does not play
anything in the first and second lines of verses 1, 4, 7, and 10.

   G        D7          C          F/C        F4        F        Am

 RM L MIR RLM I RLMII RLII RMII MRI

Cat plays the 'G' chord with the fingering as above, but an easier alternative,
to get a smooth change to the D7 by keeping the Ring finger on the 1st string and
sliding it, can be made by using the fingering below...

  G
320003
MI   R

ALUN'S CHORDS
  G        G4           C           C4            Am       D7

  RMII      RLII     R  M I I      R  L  I I      RIII     RILI

N.B. Alun plays harmonics on the first 4 bars while Cat plays the Bouzouki style
intro riff.

Intro:
     (G)  (D7)   (G)         (G)    (D7)    (G)
E |-----------------------|---------------------------|
B |-----------------------|---------------------------|
G |---12*---------12*-----|---12*-----------12*-------|
D |--------12*------------|---------------------------|
A |-----------------------|---------------------------|
E |-----------------------|---------------------------|
      (* Harmonics)

     (G)  (D7)   (G)         (G)    (D7)    (G)
E |-----------------------|---------------------------|
B |-----------------------|---------------------------|
G |---12*---------12*-----|---12*-----------12*-------|
D |-----------------------|---------------------------|
A |-----------------------|---------------------------|
E |-----------------------|---------------------------|
     (* Harmonics)

In the breaks and also verses 1, 4, 7 and 10, Alun fingerpicks a quick G to G4 pattern
(shown below), throughout the whole of these verses,and also whenever Cat is playing
the G to D7 pattern, at the end of all the other verses.
Play the G chord shape and then add the suspended 4th with the little finger.
Use the Thumb to pick the D & G strings,and Ring/Middle fingers to pick the B & E
strings.

    G        G4       G
E|--------3--------3--------3-----|
B|----3--------3--------3-----3---|
G|------4--------5--------4-----4-|
D|--5--------5--------5-----------|
A|--------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------|

In verses 2 & 3, 5 & 6, 8 & 9, and 10 to 12, Alun uses the same style picking
moved up to a C chord:
      C         C4          C
E |----------8-----------8----------8---|
B |-----8----------8-----------8--------|
G |--------9----------10----------9-----| (x3)
D |--10---------10----------10----------|
A |-------------------------------------|
E |-------------------------------------|

Then this bar is a link:
     Am                D7
E |--------------5-----------------5----|
B |-------5-----------------7-----------|
G |-----------5----------------5--------|
D |----7----------------7---------------|
A |-------------------------------------|
E |-------------------------------------|

Then back to the G to G4 picking pattern...
