Father and Son is Beautiful son.I first heard
it in college 22 years ago, and now I have
a 19 years old son. I have since lost my cassette,
(or 8 track?) of the album. My husband and
son are definately not seeing eye to eye these
days, and I think of your heartfelt song often.
I am disabled now and can't get out of the
house I've been looking on the internet for
this song. I went tto ask Jeeves and came

Hej.(hallo in Swedish) For a few weeks I've
bin wondering what to wright here, but I still
haven't found out something. My english might
be bad, but I hope you can undarstand me anyway.
What's in my head today is of corse your conster
in the Royal Albert hall. Oh, I would love
to go there,, but I'm afraid I can't. As you
can se i'm from Sweden, and only fefteen years.
Anyway,, I love your music,, I really adore
it, I guess you have herd that before,, but
I just have to tell you. I can't describe
how good I think it is, maybe in Swedish,
but I guess you would not understand. Or would
you? Anyway, so my explanation for how good
your music is ,is that I cant describe how
good it is. I'm very sad you have quit writing
and singins songs, but I do understand why.

father has been a fan for years now and put
your albam on when i was staying at his house
as my mother and fatehr are seperated.all
his music are like pink floyd and ozzy osbourne
so me and his wife was like turn this off
now.then i realised how calming and relaxing

i was very pleased when it arrived i play
it every day to get me through my granddad

stevens--after attending monday night concert
at r.a.h.--- i think the site is fantastic
and i shall definitely be returning to it
again and again. as a longstanding fan-i first
saw him in birmingham in 72 on the "teaser"
tour- the site has brought back many very

Moon and Star petition. Is it possible for
you to transfer it there for me. (By the way,
the Majicat site is, I think, the most profound
tribute to Cat Stevens that has ever been
given. I pray that it continues indefinitely.)
Below is my input; I hope it can be entered
with the rest. Thank you, Betty:
Another generation is beginning to look back,
through memories of traditions and values
of the past. In part, this is closure to their
youth. Music is a powerful bridge to that
past; Cat Stevens is a part of that music.
His songs were gentle, thought-provoking and
beautiful--qualities we sorely need today.
Many countries are now reviving his songs;
people in this country remember and love his
music too. Also, there is a new generation
of young people who have heard of Cat Stevens
or been exposed to his music, mostly through
their parents. They yearn to see this legendary
singer/songwriter--the creator of such lovely
music and the source of such profound insight--for
themselves.
We have so little recorded of his work in
the United States. You hold, perhaps, the
best film of Cat Stevens in performance here
(The Moon and Star Concert).
Now would be a fitting time to think only
of the good a rebroadcast of this concert
would do, and join with the world community
in celebrating this remarkable and beloved
artist. It would not only make a statement
to the world that we respond to the will of
our people, but that we value all artists
of great ability.
Through modern communications, this concert
would serve as a unifying force for good will,
giving people around the world something in
common to enjoy and appreciate--music, which
speaks all languages; music by Cat Stevens,
whose mustical poetry and beautiful melodies
have touched the hearts of young and old of
so many cultures, and whose wisdom has been
felt by all. Needless to say, the concert
broadcast would be received with great enthusiasm
by his many followers in the United States.
Therefore, please consider the positive impact
your actions would have. I urge you to schedule
a rebroadcast of the Moon and Star Concert
very soon.

means for people to send wishes and thoughts
to Jusuf/Cat Stevens. It is such a wonderful
gift to us all. Thank you also for transferring
my entry to the concert petition. As you must
have guessed by now, I am quite a novice when
it comes to computers. Again, I have gotten
"in over my head. " I tried to send
a greeting to Jusuf and was so distressed
to find that when I tried to correct my entry,
I entered it two more times. There will be
no space for anyone else if I take up so much
room. The last entry, I thought was alright.
When I checked it again, I was horrified to
find I had typed Jusuf's name incorrectly.
Instead of going in again and taking up more
room to apologize to him, I decided to let
